VIDEO: "Blade of Grass" with the band

"I hear it calling my name, is it calling to you?"

We're living in some trying times... And I'm trying to acknowledge that and to see how this moment, this unique time in history, is calling us.

The pressures, the stressors, the different measures being taken to create or block change are affecting all of us on the daily.

Life's gonna keep throwing challenges toward each of us, and keep pushing us.

The way I see it we can yell/cry/whine/run/hide/numb ourselves from it all, or we can take these changes and challenges head on, and choose to see them as a call; a call to adapt, to grow, and to become the bigger, better people waiting to bloom inside of us.

I know there's folks out there who hear the same call, so allll I got to say is this...

"...If it's calling your name, I hope you follow it too."

VIDEO: "THAT FEELING"

LYRICS:
Warm like my feet in the grass
Tuned in to something wonder(ful)
Full of love for my chance to be here
Chance to be here

You know that feeling
It's like you evolved
And alla the problems are solved
And you know they come back
But for now it is all
Good
And I think we all
Should
Unwind and relax
Sunshine on our backs
Sometimes we will cry
But for now we will laugh at the sky
And the past
And feel good
(Cuz feelings don't last)

VERSE ONE
Like Jesus this weather is perfect
I piece this together while swerving the beach
I just want every person we reach to feel happy
And that is the sermon I preach
..I mean that is just bursting from me
Like Grimeshine just birthed this beat
Seeds make trees
And trees make leaves
And leaves bring birds
And birds sing tweet (tweet)
Like everybody got a song to sing
A path to walk down
A secret to share
Can't be waiting on a phone to ring
And ask you to talk--No
The pieces are there
Dont forget
You controlling your destiny
Writing your story
Expressing your energy!
(Chance to be here, chance to be here)
Sounds of a town bouta burn down
..Things change but we learn how
To deal
To cope
To feel
Like there's still hope for real
Despite the concrete jungles
And yuppies
The rich get a playground
The poor remain hungry
But still
I design these rhymes
To find that piece of you in me
It's all for one
We all could be...
...Fill in the blank with your dreams
Let's paint in
Our favorite scenes (hues)
Blues and greens
From me to you
And oranges, yellows
The feeling is mellow
I read (red) that we all need care for our fellows
In life
I guess that that could feel alright..

WARM like my feet in the grass
tuned into something wonder-
full of love for my chance to be here
chance to be here

This is the Brodcast Here
with the words you don't even wanna hear
Buts that's okay
You will someday
So I'll waiting with these tracks
This beat goes slow
Cuz life so fast
Like the cars on a high way
Bars on a Friday
His way, her way
Your way, my way...

VERSE TWO
I was sitting at a bonfire
On a monday night
And it made me laugh
At the way time pass
Flashback to those KnowMads nights
Pass daps to Pepe and Wilson
I'm happy to see y'all still chillin and killin it
That feelin I had I met y'all at nineteen
Like back before people were feelin it
Blazing a trail for the realness
More than rap
It was personal healing..
It was people
just working with feelings
To turn into music and give it away
And helping kids get through the day
We share the feelings
Cuz everyone dealing with something
That's hard to explain
Loneliness
(We forget that we all just the same)
..Whether facing down death or just climate change
Parents forget us and growing old
So hard to deal with so it goes
We soldier on
Hold the pose
A moment frozen
Sun glows

And we
Feel good

Warm like my feet in the grass
Tuned in to something wonder(ful)
Full of love for my chance to be here
Chance to be here

You know that feeling
It's like you evolved
And all of the problems are solved
And you know they come back
But for now it is all
Good
And I think we all
Should
Unwind and relax
Sunshine on our backs
Sometimes we will cry
But for now we will laugh at the sky
And the past
And feel good
Cuz feelings don't last...
